TLDR This is about as straightforward as AI tools get. Paste a link or a chunk of text, or hit the browser extension button on any page, and it gives you a concise summary along with the main points.
We liked it for skimming news, research papers and long reports when we only needed the gist. It also strips out clutter like ads and pop-ups, which makes reading the original easier when you do want the full thing.
The free version handles a decent number of summaries, and Premium is just $4 a month for heavier use. Like any summarizer, it can miss subtle points in dense or technical writing, so double-check anything you plan to quote.
Best for: Busy readers who want the main points without the full read
Getting the gist of a long news article
Skimming a research paper before reading it fully
